After 18 years of broad international Human Resource management and development experience from the United Nations and the Danish private sector, today I work independently in Copenhagen.
My years with the United Nations have taken me around the world and have given me extensive experience working in a multicultural environment, including Africa and Iraq. Working in a global international organization has given me a strong professional interest in organizational development and teams – and a great insight in the importance and workings of both organizational and national cultures.
Learning and development has always been my passion, and I have counselled and coached employees of many different nationalities and in vary different circumstances. I have held training and awareness raising workshops on a number of subjects ranging from intercultural management, mentoring and harassment issues to competency based recruitment methodology and processes.
I have worked closely with the Foreign Ministries in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Luxembourg on assessment and selection of a large number of employees for the United Nations.
